Born in Boston, Massachusetts to an Irish craftsman and an American nurse, Killian formed his love for photography at a young age. In pursuit of adventures in a new land, he hopped a plane to San Francisco at 18 years old. Surrounded by so many forms of nature and chasing light in a haven for beatniks, live music, cultural arts, and the general odd-ball he reignited a love for film photography that was centered around finding extraordinary moments in ordinary life. However, those frames were merely the beginning.

After studying Psychology at university, 6 years in sustainable footwear thereafter, and at the onset of a world pandemic he sought a more creative outlet. The camera was calling. Applying his experience from the world of fashion, combining it with a strong passion for film and music photography, he started telling authentic visual stories of friends’ businesses and brands. As gigs began to flow, he made it his mission to create bold & visceral commercial content. He now revels in curating unique brand experiences that highlight clients’ products, services, and the lives they enhance.

Killian and his team are still based in Northern California and produce with clients globally — always hunting for the next adventure and thankful for each one that comes along. He is largely inspired by nature, communities, music & muses, old film & family photographs, faces of friends, and the stories out there that are begging to be told.
